TRENDS OF CHANGES AND THE POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRODUCTION OF THE MAIN FIELDS CROPS IN UKRAINE

Agriculture has been historically one of the main sectors Ukrainian economy. Considered for centuries as a “bread basket Europe”. In recent years Ukraine’s agriculture consistently improving and only part country’s economy to buck recession, but Ukraine is still country with relatively large untapped agricultural potentials. The study concerns production crops in 1992-2020 witch short-term prediction until 2027. analysis covered following variables: area harvested, share arable land, yield production. showed that plant was characterized by significant growth dynamics. This especially true yields wheat potato cultivation area, grain maize, rape, sunflower soybean. On other hand, sugar beet, barley, buckwheat, rye oats were decreased. Moreover, tendencies changes taking place discussed allowed us conclude importance this respect will increase. However, war reduce species question.
